This week at Balboa Union Church

BUC Building Maintenance

During the last 2 weeks, the BUC staff has been working on some important maintenance needed to the structure of our church. Some of them are:

Sanctuary’s Roof / Techo del Santuario

In the last month, we noticed that in the Sanctuary we were having many leaks coming from the roof, which made the floor wet and slippery. now it has been repaired

Main Wall

The main wall, which is the first view our members and visitors have when entering to our church, was dirty due to the constant rains we had during the last month, due to this it had green and dark spots, but during this week it has been cleaned and now gives a beautiful view of our Church from the street.

Panamanian Saving Funds

Balboa Union Chuch, as the member of the Ecumenical Council, was invited by the Fondo de Ahorro de Panama (Panamanian Saving Funds) to this week´s meeting to be informed about the latest updates regarding their results for the 2016-2017 period and the status of the investment & transparency.
We would like to highlight that in Latin America there are only 3 other similar funds, which are: Trinidad & Tobago, Chile & Mexico. Worldwide, Panama is #2 in the transparency of the operation of their fund.
