1 Corinthians 2 (New English Translation)
2 When I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come with superior eloquence or wisdom as I proclaimed the testimony of God. 2 For I decided to be concerned about nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and with much trembling. 4 My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.
Eternal Father, we thank you for all that you do for us, thank you for allowing us part of your kingdom and being able to call us “Children of God”.
Let us serve you with humility, let us serve our neighbor with love and humility.
Help us father, to lead a humble life, help our rulers to lead our nation and the world, with humility. May your spirit of wisdom allow us to keep in communication with all the Christians of the world, may your spirit of humility allow us to unite as one, as brothers in Christ. Amen.
