Prayers

Whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant. (Mark 10:43)
God with us,
When we privilege our own agendas,
hurt others in the effort to impose our will,
or chain ourselves to our fears,
tumble us off the throne of our pride,
and release us into finding our worth in your love.
Lord have mercy on us
Lord Jesus Christ,
you know us, you love us, you free us,
then call us to follow you
and we bless you.
Your mercy meets us in our confusion;
may your spirit meet us in our everyday living.

We need your help!

Our Church is helping the “Hug me with your Love and a Blanket” program, a program that has been managed by our sister in Christ; Maria Luis Molina, who with great passion brings joy and love to 33 boys and girls from Peña Bijagual, an Emberá community, located in Darién.
You can help us donating clothes, toys, personal care products, etc.
For more information, you can contact Maria Luisa Molina at 6341-3980 or you can do it through our Church at 314-1004, 6458-4909 and we will gladly give you more details about this love sharing program.

Xmas Party for kids

Balboa Union Church will be celebrating the “Children Christmas Party 2018” on Dec 15, 2018. This year, we will celebrate the party with 21 girls from the Home “Girls of the Capital”, with whom we will be sharing a happy evening, full of surprises, love, and happiness.
To make this dream come true, any help is welcome! You
can help to this noble cause by sponsoring one of the girls or by donating
products that we can share during the party, such as fast food to share with the Girls (Pizza, Hot-Dogs, Donuts, etc.), natural or artificial
drinks (sodas), candies, cookies, etc.

CandleLight Service

Come and join us on Christmas Eve for our Candlelight service, as we remember a night in WWII, when no lights could be lit and when our Church laid out on the front steps their candles, “lighting up the world”. This is a night in which we each remember that we let our lights shine – that Jesus came to earth so that each of us would be “the light of the earth”.

Each Christmas Eve, we spend a moment remembering that star that shone so bright and lead the way for the wise men, and we light our candles to show the way for each of us to follow.

Each Christmas Eve, we joyously sing Carols together, and enjoy the presentations from Hijos del Rey, as they present their acapela harmonies and soloists who lovingly come to present to the King their songs of praise.

Come and join us!

One of the first steps to gaining a closer relationship with God is admitting that you need him in your life. Ironic, yeah? The reality is that we can’t do everything on our own, so admitting this will not only show a sense of humility in your life but will also show God that you have faith in his strength and guidance, rather than your own. As John 3:30states, “He must increase, I must decrease.”
