Prayers
King of all the earth,
Creator of the universe,
Holy Triune God,
From everlasting to everlasting, you are Lord.
We will give thanks to you, O Lord, with our whole hearts, for your glory is above the heavens; from the rising of the sun to it setting, we will praise the name of the Lord!
You raise the poor from the dust and lift the needy from the ash heap, transforming them with glory and honor; from the rising of the sun to it setting, we will praise the name of the Lord!
You bring fruitfulness from barrenness and give homes to the solitary; from the rising of the sun to it setting, we will praise the name of the Lord!
Who is like our God, the One who looks down from the heights on the heavens on the earth?
From the rising of the sun to it setting, we will praise the name of the Lord!
Thank you, Lord, for all our dear friends and family here at the Balboa Union Church

Our volunteers are getting ready for the visit to families in Emberá Wounaan Comarca in the Peña Bijagual Community, in the province of Darién. They are bringing food, cloth, and happiness to the children of the Community, a trip that lasts more than 6 hours on a car and 30 minutes on a boat.
Special thanks to the volunteers for participating in this activity and their wiliness to travel a long distance to share love of Christ and show their love for their neighbor, their love for the needy and for following the guidelines that God has commanded to us, at the same time, we thanks to all the members of our congregation that have helped and made this possible.
Our volunteers are:
– Maria Luis Molina
– Maribel Rodriguez
– Militza Mosquera

Reading to Share
In the early days at Lancaster Baptist Church, I gave a “Visit With the Pastor” almost every Sunday night in which I tried to infuse our young church with the DNA of New Testament Christianity. Usually, there was a brief topical lesson on topics ranging from how to lead someone to the Lord to having family devotions to encouraging new Christians.
Now fast forward 30 years. This past fall, one of our early members, Denise Lofgren, went to be with the Lord after a sudden battle with cancer. Denise and her husband, Gary, came to Lancaster Baptist in 1987 and have stayed for these 30 years as they raised their four boys here.
