Missions Fundraiser – AAAM program<\/h3>\n

We are grateful to all \u00a0friends and members of BUC\u00a0for their cooperation in our food sale today, which saw us raise money for the AAAM program, to assist us to purchase food for the elderly. \u00a0A big thank you to all of those who donated their time and effort to helping us cook this lunch today!<\/p>\n

May – The Month of Pentecost – Celebration of the Holy Spirit<\/h2>\n

In May we will be celebrating Pentecost, and so will be focusing our worship on the presence of the Holy Spirit.
\nIn our worship, we will be using:

Fundraising for the purchase of the Land – Building 773<\/h3>\n

2 Corinthians 9:8, \u201cAnd God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We continue our recent fundraising effort\u00a0to purchase the land under Building 773, across the street from the Church & parsonage. \u00a0As many of you know, BUC applied in 2000 for the purchase of the land, according to the terms of\u00a0the Panama Canal treaty, of all three of our buildings: the church, the parsonage and building 773. \u00a0In 2012, thanks to the efforts of past and current members, the purchase of the land under the church and parsonage was finalised, and we were given title to not only our buildings, but also the land. At this time, we have title to building 773 itself, but we do not own the land under and around it.<\/p>\n

We are asking all friends and members to collaborate and assist in any and all ways possible, financially, with their skills and time, so that we can make this purchase also a reality. \u00a0We ask you to give generously, as you are willing and able.<\/p>\n

This coming Tuesday the Rev Douglas and his wife Aletta retunr to their home in United States, although we are excited to hear that they already have plans to return later this year for another visit. \u00a0If you weren’t able to meet with them during this trip, please make sure to get more details on their next trip.<\/div>\n
