There can be no \u201cjustification by works\u201d be\u00adcause there can be no good works unless there is already faith (trust) in God. James doesn\u2019t mean that faith can exist without works yet be insuf\u00adficient for salvation. He means that any \u201cfaith\u201d that doesn\u2019t lead to works is dead; in other words, it is <em>no faith at all<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The insight that Christian faith always leads to practical action is in itself a lesson for the workplace. Survivors include sisters Helen Tilley Martin of Lawrence,\u00a0KS, Marjorie Janet Lee (husband Glenn) of Cerro Punta, R. de\u00a0P.,\u00a0and brother John Locke\u00a0Tilley (wife Susan) of Rogue River, OR, and several nieces and nephews.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Bob graduated from Balboa High School in 1972. He served in the US Airforce during the Vietnam era. After leaving the service he moved to Florida, living in Ft. Lauderdale until his return to Panama in 2014. He worked in Avionics at Eastern Airlines and for several General Aviation companies.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Bob had a great love for birds, having many for\u00a0pets, his favorite probably being a cockatoo named Crow.
