Prayer for this end of year:<\/h1>\n

O God<\/b> of all beginnings and endings,
\nWe praise and thank you for the gift of 2015.
\nIt has been a time filled with grace and blessings,
\nWith challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows.<\/span><\/p>\n

The days have passed quickly, O Lord.
\nThe weeks, the months, the seasons, the holidays and holy days,
\nAll have come forth from your hand.<\/span><\/p>\n

While we trust that your purposes have always been at work each day,
\nSometimes it has seemed difficult to understand and appreciate
\nJust what you have been up to in our church.<\/span><\/p>\n

Give us the rest and refreshment, but fill us with your joy for 2016.
\nLet our efforts of this past year bear fruit.
\nBring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion,
\nAnd bless us, according to your will,<\/span><\/p>\n

With the fulfillment of our hopes and dreams.
\nWatch over us in the days, weeks, and months ahead,
\nAnd guide each day in 2016 as you have done this past year.
\nLet \u00a0us begin 2016 with a new spirit and a new energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

May we continue to grow
\nIn age, wisdom, knowledge and grace
\nAll the days of our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n
