Mark 6:37-38
\nGive ye them to eat! – How much do you have? – 5 loaves and 2 fish.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Once again, the situation was hopeless. Where should Jesus’ disciples find food for so many people? – We all need to eat; this is a basic part of our life. But it’s not just about food; it’s about life in general. And life comes from God’s hand.
\nJesus challenges his disciples: they have to learn to believe and to have faith; they should learn to trust God. We, too, have to learn this lesson; it’s a challenge for every day.
\nOur table is set every day. We do not worry what we’ll eat. But maybe we are missing something else. Therefore we ought to learn to trust God. Then we will see life in a different light and we become grateful. When we express \u00abthank you\u00bb, then we truly became human.<\/p>\n

First visit to Fundaci\u00f3n Vida Nueva – home for the elderly in Howard<\/h3>\n

Pastor Roland will be leading our first visit to Howard’s Fundaci\u00f3n Vida Nueva home, \u00a0and we invite you all to join with him in this first church visit. \u00a0They would greatly appreciate our help with:<\/p>\n

1- helping residents get back from the Chapel (from their morning service at 11:00 a.m.) to the dining room;<\/p>\n

2- sitting with them during and after lunch to converse;<\/p>\n

3- accompanying some of them up the stairs and back to their rooms after lunch.<\/p>\n

All are welcome.<\/p>\n

AAAM Program, Tuesday, July 21st\"DSC_0336\"<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"DSC_0337\"<\/a>On Tuesday we delivered food baskets to our 20 recipients of the monthly food baskets, after picking up the food at the Banco de Alimentos on Friday afternoon. \u00a0This month, Beth helped Betsy with the pick up, as the amount we were able to purchase was too much to fit in a single 4×4! We were overjoyed at the amount of food we were able to get through the Banco de Alimentos.<\/p>\n
