FROM THE PASTOR\u2019S DESK<\/h1>\n

This week we met with brothers and sisters of other communities of faith.
\nWe participated in an ecumenical meeting celebrating the light and power of Easter (Via Lucis).<\/p>\n

I want to express my thanks to our lawyers working so hard on the legal process to get title to our land under License 1722, with the multiple issues that have arisen out of this; and I extend my thanks to the whole neighborhood and other churches which support us.
\nAmong various we formulate a prayer, as we were asked to, so that we all can pray in union to our God. I am glad that many see these dark moments as an opportunity to give a Christian witness of unity and justice.
\nMay God protect and bless us all<\/p>\n

Esta semana nos reunimos con hermanas y hermanos de otras comunidades de fe.<\/p>\n

Participamos en un encuentro ecum\u00e9nico celebrando la luz y el poder de la Pascua.<\/p>\n

Agradezco a nuestras abogadas que trabajan en el proceso para titular nuestra tierra bajo la licencia 1722 con las m\u00faltiples complicaciones que han surgido en este proceso; damos gracias a\u00a0toda la comunidad\u00a0y a las dem\u00e1s iglesias que nos apoyan.<\/p>\n

Entre varios formulamos una oraci\u00f3n, como se nos pidi\u00f3, para que JUNTOS recemos a nuestro Dios. Me alegro que muchos vean estos momentos oscuros como una oportunidad para dar un testimonio cristiano de unidad y por la justicia.<\/p>\n

Que Dios nos proteja y bendiga a todos<\/p>\n

Se\u00f1or, pedimos por tu protecci\u00f3n\u00a0y que tu Esp\u00edritu Santo nos d\u00e9\u00a0tanto la astucia de las serpientes\u00a0como tambi\u00e9n la pureza de las\u00a0palomas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Se\u00f1or, que tu justicia engrandezca\u00a0nuestra naci\u00f3n, e impida que la\u00a0maldad deshonre a nuestro pueblo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rezamos unidos para que nuestro\u00a0testimonio en palabras y hechos\u00a0glorifique a Dios Creador, el gran\u00a0amante de la vida.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord Jesus, we come to you trusting in\u00a0your promise to find peace in you.\u00a0<\/span>True, the world presses in on us;\u00a0But you have overcome the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, Lord, we give you our lives\u00a0so that your Spirit may cleanse us,\u00a0fortify us and guide us to thetruth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, may your Holy Spirit give us\u00a0wisdom and direct our actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

You send us as your witnesses into this\u00a0world, even with its abundant powers\u00a0of darkness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, we pray for your protection.<\/span><\/p>\n

You send us like sheep among wolves.\u00a0So help us to be wise as serpents\u00a0and innocent as doves. (Mt 10:16)<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, may your righteousness magnify\u00a0our nation, and prevent evil disgrace\u00a0to our people.<\/span><\/p>\n

We pray that our witness in words and\u00a0deeds will glorify God the Creator,\u00a0the great lover of life.<\/span>
